Dr. Larry W. Warner Jr., MD
Dr. Larry W. Warner Jr. (B.S., Louisiana State University; M.D., Ross University) is the founder and chief medical officer of Collaborative Minds. After completing medical school in 2006, he completed his residency in psychiatry at LSU-Ochsner in New Orleans in 2011, where he was named Resident of the Year in psychiatry in 2007. Prior to opening his private practice, Dr. Warner served as the staff psychiatrist at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales and continues to hold privileges at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Hospital in Baton Rouge.
Dr. Warner is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association and is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Warner’s area of expertise includes the psychopharmacological treatment of mental illnesses including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, psychosis, attention deficit disorders and comorbidities of psychiatric illness with substance abuse. In the wider community, he also serves as a mentor to young people and students, encouraging them at all stages of their careers.
